A mock-up examplifies the visual appearence and ”look-a-like functions” of an envisaged tool. A mock-up is used to illustrate the screens and possibilities of user interaction. Mock-ups provide a point of reference against which System Usage Scenarios can be tested by playing through potential interactions. Mock-ups can also be supplemented by the System Usage Scenarios and use cases of direct relevance to the respective tool. The purpose of mock-ups is to test design ideas and to elicit new requirements in close cooperation of technical and pedagogical partners. The mock-ups are primarily produced by technical partners but should be developed/review in close collaboration with pedagogical partners.

An example of a mockup developed by EVTEK can be found at: http://www.kp-lab.org/intranet/work-packages/wp6/shared-space-demo/shared-space-demo-links/
